🇬🇧| “Como 1907 Primavera taught me to be strong physically, on and off the ball, but during my time with the national team, I sharpened another set of skills. I learned to move the ball faster and to get into the box at every opportunity. I worked hard to improve my finishing, and it finally paid off. I’m happy to score a goal that made both my family and my country proud.”

From October 9-15, Naj Razi, Como 1907 Primavera winger, was called up to join Ireland’s U19 NT. The team remained undefeated in three friendlies against Greece, Croatia, and Mexico. Razi played in all three matches, scoring a goal against Greece. He spoke about how his club and country have influenced his growth, and his experience in international football.

“In International football, there are many talented players from all over the world, and the speed of the game is very high. There’s also a wider range of tactics depending on the country we’re playing against. It’s a more physical game compared to club football.”

Dal 9 al 15 ottobre, Naj Razi, ala della Primavera del Como 1907, è stato convocato dalla Nazionale U19 dell’Irlanda. La squadra è rimasta imbattuta in tre amichevoli contro Grecia, Croazia e Messico. Naj ha giocato in tutte e tre le partite, segnando un gol contro la Grecia. Razi ha parlato dell’influenza del club e del suo Paese sulla sua crescita, oltre che delle differenze tra il calcio di club e quello internazionale.

“Il calcio internazionale è diverso da quello di club. Ci sono molti giocatori di talento provenienti da tutto il mondo, e la velocità di gioco è altissima. Inoltre, le tattiche cambiano molto a seconda del Paese contro cui giochi. È un gioco più fisico rispetto al calcio di club”.

Davide and Pietro, a father and son from Como, have been cheering for the Lariani together. Having attended several matches this season, including a trip to Naples, Davide spoke about the team’s style of play and shared their story as fans.

“As a child, I used to go to the stadium with my dad, who had a season ticket in the Distinti in the 80s, when we were in Serie A. I remained a fan through the difficult times. As soon as Pietro showed an interest in football, I brought him along.

“We’re always there for home games, and we go to away matches whenever we can. I know that soon Pietro will feel drawn to the Curva, where he can enjoy the match in a more lively atmosphere with his friends. When that time comes, I’ll let him go, but for now, I enjoy experiencing the moments together.”

Davide e Pietro, padre e figlio comaschi, hanno condiviso molti momenti tifando per i Lariani. Dopo aver assistito a numerose partite quest’anno, riflettono sul gioco propositivo del Como 1907 e raccontano la loro storia.

“Da bambino andavo allo stadio con mio papà, che aveva l’abbonamento nei Distinti negli anni 80 in A. Ho vissuto anche gli anni più bui da abbonato, e appena Pietro ha iniziato a interessarsi di calcio, l’ho portato con me.

“Alle partite casalinghe siamo sempre presenti, e in trasferta andiamo quando gli impegni ce lo consentono. So che presto Pietro sentirà il richiamo della curva, dove potrà vivere la partita in modo più animato insieme agli amici. Quando sarà il momento, lo lascerò andare, ma per ora mi godo questi momenti insieme.”

Nico Paz, the Como 1907 midfielder, made his debut for the Argentina National Team today in a World Cup Qualifier against Bolivia. Coming on in the 73rd minute for Lautaro Martínez, Nico soon made his mark with an assist to Leo Messi in the 86th minute. He spoke to TyC Sports about his debut after the game.

“My family were so happy for me. My father and sister were able to come to the match, and being able to hug them and give them my shirt at the end was special. My mother and younger sister watched from home and called me straight away. Seeing them so happy brought me great joy.

“During this time with the national team, I had the chance to learn from some of the best players in the world. Playing alongside them was incredible, and getting to assist Messi is something I’m really proud of. Now, I’ve gained a lot of confidence for the rest of the season with Como 1907, and I’m sure we’ll achieve our objectives.”

🇬🇧| Como 1907 is delighted to announce that on Saturday, October 26 at 20:30, the Jakarta Concert Orchestra (Avip Priatna, conductor) will perform a concert titled “Harmony in Unity” at the Teatro Sociale in Como.

Their Europe tour is under the support of Giok Hartono, a key figure in the development of the Resonanz Music Studio and wife of Robert Budi Hartono, owner of Como 1907. JCO is celebrated as one of Indonesia’s foremost professional orchestras. It is renowned for its performances that consistently achieve the highest artistic standards.

The performance will feature 50 professional musicians from the Jakarta Concert Orchestra, the Batavia Madrigal Singers (the winner of the 2022 European Grand Prix for Choral Singing), and distinguished instrumental and vocal soloists from Indonesia.

The programme will include a selection of original compositions and arrangements inspired by traditional Indonesian musical themes, enhanced with exquisite orchestration.

Como 1907 2024/25 season ticket holders will receive a discount code to enjoy the concert at a reduced price.

La tournée in Europa è sostenuta da Giok Hartono, figura chiave nello sviluppo del Resonanz Music Studio e moglie di Robert Budi Hartono, proprietario di Como 1907. La JCO è considerata una delle principali orchestre professionali indonesiane ed è celebre per le sue esibizioni che raggiungono i più alti standard artistici.

L’esibizione vedrà la partecipazione di 50 musicisti professionisti della Jakarta Concert Orchestra, dei Batavia Madrigal Singers (vincitori nel 2022 del Gran Premio Europeo di Canto Corale) e di illustri solisti strumentali e vocali indonesiani.

Il programma comprenderà una selezione di composizioni originali e arrangiamenti ispirati a temi musicali tradizionali indonesiani, arricchiti da una squisita orchestrazione.

On Thursday October 10, Manuel Ortelli from Como 1907’s U15 squad was called up to represent the Italian U15 national team. At the call up, he played in a friendly against other selected players and managed to score a goal. He spoke about his goal as well as the overall experience.

“During the game, I received the ball from the goalkeeper and with the help of the midfielder and the right wing, I approached the opponent’s penalty area and finished a cross with a shot on goal. Scoring my first goal for the national was an indescribable feeling!”

“It was a great learning experience because I was able to observe some very talented players up close.”

Giovedì 10 ottobre, Manuel Ortelli, della squadra U15 del Como 1907, è stato convocato in rappresentanza della Nazionale italiana U15. In occasione della convocazione, ha disputato un’amichevole contro altri giocatori selezionati ed è riuscito a segnare un gol. Manuel ha condiviso le sue emozioni sul gol e sull’esperienza vissuta.

“Durante la partita, ho ricevuto la palla dal portiere e, grazie al supporto del centrocampista e dell’ala destra, mi sono avvicinato all’area di rigore avversaria e ho finalizzato un cross con un tiro in porta. Segnare il mio primo gol in Nazionale è stata una sensazione indescrivibile!”.

“È stata una grande esperienza di apprendimento, perché ho avuto l’opportunità di osservare da vicino giocatori di grande talento”.

On October 10, Como 1907 forwards Alessandro Gabrielloni and Patrick Cutrone came to visit `Corridoni` primary school in Viale Sinigaglia, to distribute notebooks to the entire school.

This initiative is aimed at strengthening the bond between the club and the community, with a particular focus on younger generations. Over 3,300 Como 1907-themed notebooks were distributed to primary school students in Como, reaching 179 classes across 27 primary schools in the municipality.

Mira spoke about the day and emphasises the importance of the connection between the local team and her students.

“Initiatives like this will bring children closer to the world of sport, particularly football and the Como 1907 team. This event can lead to experiences at the stadium, allowing them to feel the excitement of championship matches firsthand.”

Mira, insegnate presso la scuola "Corridoni" di Viale Sinigaglia, commenta così l`incontro speciale tra gli alunni e i due giocatori del Como 1907 Alessandro Gabrielloni e Patrick Cutrone. In questa occasione, i due attaccanti hanno distribuito personalmente i quaderni a tutti gli studenti della scuola.

L`iniziativa è volta a rafforzare il legame tra il club e il territorio, con un`attenzione particolare alle nuove generazioni. Sono stati distribuiti oltre 3300 quaderni a tema Como 1907 agli alunni delle scuole elementari di Como, divisi in 179 classi di 27 scuole elementari del comune.

Mira sottolinea l’importanza del contatto tra la squadra e i suoi studenti.

“Sicuramente queste iniziative avvicinano i bambini al mondo dello sport, in particolare al calcio e alla squadra del Como. Un incontro che può proseguire allo stadio, per vivere dal vivo l’emozione delle partite di campionato.”

Pepe Reina, Como 1907’s experienced Spanish goalkeeper, commented on his arrival at Biancoblù in the summer. With an impressive array of trophies at both club and international levels, Reina spoke about his aspirations to pursue a managerial path and the importance of family in his life.

“Longer term, I’m interested in going down the management path. I’ve been fortunate to work with big names like Benítez, Sarri, Guardiola, and Gattuso. You try to take the best bits from each of them and avoid the worst bits.”

“I definitely want to be a present dad who loves his children and tries to raise them to be good people. I have two sons, one is a goalkeeper, the other a defender, but it’s not important to me that they become footballers, but rather that they are good people.”

“Cerco di essere un padre presente, che ama i suoi figli e cerca di crescerli come brave persone. Dei miei due figli maschi uno è portiere e l’altro è difensore. Ma il fatto che possano diventare dei calciatori è sicuramente secondario rispetto al fatto che diventino delle persone per bene”.
