Como 1907 secures signing of one Asia’s biggest young talents: Ali Jasim

Como 1907 is delighted to announce the signing of one of the brightest talents from Asia, Ali Jasim from Al-Kahrabaa. The player completed his medical yesterday in Paris where he is preparing for the Olympics and has signed a three year contract with the club.

The 20 year-old Iraq-born winger who spent this season on loan with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya made his Iraqi Premier League debut at just 14 years old.

An Iraq International Jasim already has 13 senior caps under his belt including a standout performance in the AFC U23 Asian Cup where he was named top goal scorer at the tournament.

On bringing Jasim to the club Cesc Fàbregas, head coach, Como 1907, said: “We believe Jasim has the potential to develop quickly here with us in Como. He  has already made a big impression on the national team and Asian Champions League and we hope to see this translate to making an impact in Italy as soon as possible in the upcoming season.”

On signing, Ali commented: “I am thrilled to announce my signing with Como 1907. This is a significant milestone in my football career, and I am grateful to everyone who has supported and helped me reach this point. I am excited to start this new chapter in Italy and look forward to giving my best with Como 1907.
