Como 1907 signs defender Sara Malacrida from Como Women

Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of central defender Sara Malacrida on a one-year contract.

Born in 2005, Sara joins the club after seven seasons in Como Women’s academy.
Last year, the defender led, as captain, Como Women’s Primavera to win Primavera 2 Championship.

Heather O’Reilly, advisor to Como 1907’s Women’s team, commented: “Sara is a defender who can lead the defense with great personality. She will be important on and off the pitch.”

After signing for the club, Sara said: “In Como I found a nice environment and a close-knit team. The season goal is clear and shared”
