Como 1907 signs Italian defender Alessia Grassi

Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing, on a one-year contract, of Italian defender Alessia Grassi.

The 22-year-old defender grew up in Real Meda the moved to Pro Sesto with whom she won the Eccellenza Championship in 2019 and got promoted to Serie C.

In her career, she also played in Serie C with Speranza Agrate and Vittuone as well as Serie B with Lugano.

Heather O’Reilly, advisor to Como 1907’s Women’s team, commented: “Alessia is a player ready to sacrifice herself for the group and this is a crucial aspect for the team. She is a player that will push the team at training and continue to develop.”

After signing for the club, Alessia said: “In Como I found a group of great quality, determined and ready to work and improve every day in order to achieve our set goals”.
